Fishing Boats in a Shallow Sea
Coastal craft are shown in a rough sea, with a town and church tower on the horizon to the right. The principal boat in the foreground flies the flag of the States General. The boat in the centre-left is probably a weyschuit used as a small open fishing boat on the Zuider Zee. On the far right, a small open boat has cast a net. The painting has been signed by the artist.
