An Admiralty trawler, probably the 'Seamew'
The Admiralty pendant number '02' on the hull and general appearances suggest this is a study of the trawler 'Seamew', which was built in 1909 as the 'Nunthorpe Hall' and but purchased by the Admiralty that April. She was used as a First World War minesweeper, being based at Sheerness in 1914, and resumed the name 'Nunthorpe Hall' when sold back to fishing use in 1920.
