Our Fathers [page 3]
Medium includes graphite. Page 3 of a set (comprising PAF2128-PAF2131) of draft illustrations to the poem 'Our Fathers': see PAF0661. Another set of versions are nos. PAF0929-PAF0932. The text is also in Wyllie's hand and the top illustration of a skirmish on a beach is also annotated by him 'This subject smaller'. PAF0930 is probably another version of these subjects. For the etched and published versions of the set, see PAF2157-PAF2161. [PvdM 2/13]
