The Tower from Hays Wharf
A drypoint etching of the Tower of London as seen from Hay's Wharf on the south bank of the Thames. A steamer is moving westwards into the Upper Pool, while steam tugs, right foreground, are towing lighters downriver. The spritsail of a Thames barge is just visible through the smoke of the tugs’ funnels.
