Barge and other craft on the river. 2. Trial proof

A trial proof print for an etching of a barge and other craft on the River Thames. Two barges sail downriver and another is visible astern of them further upstream. There is a cluster of lighters, left, laden with cargo, and beyond, a number of tugs and cargo ships. Through the haze can be seen London Bridge and the twin Victorian towers of Cannon Street station. For another version, see PAF2247.
