Lettered lower right with the etcher’s name and date: ‘M. H. G. Jervis, 31 October 1816’. This etching was made by Martha Honora Georgiana Jervis in 31 October 1816. Martha Honora Georgiana Jervis was the great-niece of the sitter. (Updated June 2019.)
