La Rochelle: the tower of the church of Saint-Sauveur from across the harbour
Oil painting. Compared to the view shown in BHC1394, the Gothic tripartite decoration of the tower with an opening only in the central compartment is more obvious. This view is apparetly across the east end of the harbour basin. This appears to be a more finished version from the study which is BHC1404.
