'Belleisle' towed to Gibraltar, 24 October 1805
This hand-coloured etching depicts the Belleisle, in starboard broadside view, with masts and rigging removed after extensive damage in the Battle of Trafalgar (21st October 1805), being towed by the Naiad, on the right of the picture. Also on the right is the distinctive headland of Gibraltar.
