Scene on the Thames
Oil painting by Herbert Barnard John Everett, previously entitled 'Harbour scene'. The craft of which the rudders are shown on the left are Thames barges, mooored up on the mud, and the generally industrial character of the background suggests this is a view on the lower Thames.
