A beach scene near a sand dune. A scene with four fishing pinks in the right distance hauled up on the beach. On the left is a steep-sided sand dune with five people on the top. In the left foreground is a two-wheeled truck and a man lying by it. In the centre are two fisherwomen and a man with a dog on the lead.
It is presumed to have been made by the Elder in preparation for his pen paintings or grisailles; but it is not identified with certainty.
