Portrait of the 'Burford'
Portrait of the ‘Burford’, third rate of 70 guns. She was built in 1679 and rebuilt 1699. She is viewed from the port quarter.
A drawing clearly singed in ink by the Younger, but not certainly by him. There are several corrections, especially about the forecastle, which would be unusual for a drawing by the Younger at this period.
