Sir Edward Berry 1768-1831
A half-length portrait of Edward Berry (1768–1831) in captain’s undress uniform, under three years’ seniority, 1795–1812, holding his gloved right hand to his chest. This print was engraved by George Keating after a portrait by Henry Singleton. It was published by Keating on 1 March 1799 as a pair to his earlier print of Nelson (see PAG6668), published the previous year. (Updated June 2019.) This impression has been cut down, removing the title and publication line. For a complete impression, see PAH4336.
