One of two impressions (the other not coloured) of Chessell's aquatint print depicting the relief of Williamstadt by the British Forces in 1793. This impression has a longer inscription, rubbed in places: "This Print representing the Relief of Williamstadt, in Holland by the British Forces under the Command of His R H the Duke of York when beseig'd by the French Army under Genl. Dumourier [is] by Permission humbly dedicated to His Royal Highness by his most obedient and obliged humble servant John Chessell, Royal Navy". The ship Childers is shown broadside in the foreground on the right of the picture.
