The Leviathan (Great Eastern) Steam Ship, Inside and Out (portside view and cross section)

A portside view and cross-section of the 'Great Eastern'. Brunel's massive ship - easily the largest of the Victorian age - captured the public imagination. Images of the 'Great Eastern' were widely circulated in the press and through the production of commercial prints.
