This etching, which is plate 6 in a series, depicts five vessels in a composed scene to show the vessel types.The centre of the image features the Royal yacht ‘Prince Regent’ with her occupied ship’s boat in the left foreground. Behind the latter is the ‘Causand Bay’, a ketch-rigged yacht. On the right of the picture, a Portsmouth wherry in the foreground carries four people and a schooner-rigged pleasure yacht lies in the background.
