Portrait of the 'Charlotte'

Viewed from before the starboard beam, a portrait of the ‘Charlotte’, 8-gun yacht, built 1677, rebuilt 1710.

The drawing is probably an offset from PAH1858 not rubbed on the back.

This drawing was probably made in connection with pictures of the journey of William of Orange and Princess Mary to Holland in 1677. Approximately dated by the subject and watermark.
