'A view taken near Limehouse Bridge, looking down the Thames', one of the many views of England and Wales published by John Boydell (1719-1804). Boydell specialised in engravings of paintings by notable artists. He later became Lord Mayor of London. This view of Limehouse contains few vessels but depicts several landing places at low water.
