The Blackwall Railway Terminus & Brunswick Pier with the Brunswick Propeller, & other steam vessels
Print entitled, 'The Blackwall Railway Terminus & Brunswick Pier with the Brunswick Propeller, & other steam vessels'. Visibly named paddle steamers include the 'Waterman No 1' (c.1841) on the left, the small 'Propeller' (1840) in the centre and the 'Brunswick' (1842) on the right. The Blackwall mast house (1793-1862) and Green's East India Dock are on the left behind. The Terminus was built by the Blackwall Railway Company on land purchased from the Greens' Blackwall shipyard in 1835.
