A Dutch fleet in light airs, August? 1665

On the extreme left of this picture is a starboard bow view of a snow with her sails hauled up. Close on her port bow is a galjoot in the wind. In the centre middle distance is a stern view of a ship, possibly the 'Jupiter'. On the right is another galjoot, and a ship with a flag at the main beyond. In the distance, a large number of ships may be seen.

The unsigned drawing is numbered ‘No 2’.
