The Entrance of the Lord Ambassador Mountague into the Citty of Lisbone the 28 day of March 1662
The first of a series of 7 prints [PAH4098-PAH4104] showing the progress of the Infanta Catherine of Braganza from Lisbon to marry Charles II in England. These were created by the Spanish court artist Dirk Stoop to commemorate her journey, and were produced with captions in various languages, including English, Portuguese and German.
