Very rough sketch of a three-masted sailing vessel
This work depicts a very distant view of around twelve Dutch ships. In the left centre are the Admirals of the centre, van and rear. To the right is the Vice-Admiral of the centre, sailing behind a private ship. There is a small boier yacht, which is a type of passenger vessel, floating in the foreground along with several other ships. On the extreme left is a States yacht. A thin strip of land is faintly visible in the far distance on the far left.
