'Morning'
Print
This print, entitled 'Morning' depicts a country scene with two people wadding in a stream. This is one of three prints within this collection all of a similar crayon like style, all dated 1819 and all produced by an unknown artist 'J.C.B.' and the printer, Redman of Maiden Lane, London. Only two of the three have titles, 'Morning' and 'Evening' respectively though it is not the same scene depicted in each. There is a Redman associated with the story of photography and it is in 1819 that John works on some chemistry that would later be applied to photography however any connection between these prints and that story would need considerable research.
