Nibourg. Action between Danes and Swedes, 14 Nov 1659. Nyborg, Denmark

Print depicting the final major action of the Dano-Swedish Wars of 1658-60, at Nyborg on the Danish island of Funen. A combined force of Danish, Dutch, Brandenburg-Prussian, and Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth troops defeated the Swedes. The Dutch naval forces were led by Michiel de Ruyter.
