Allerton (1822) passing the Eddystone Lighthouse
Oil Painting. Shows the Allerton under way, passing the Eddystone Lighthouse. Its sails are full, catching the wind. A pennant flying at the top of the centre mast has the vessel's name written on it. Atop of the other two masts are signal flags. There are two vessels on the left in the background, with the suggestion of land.
