The English and French Fleets in the Baltic, 1854

This coloured lithograph depicts the Reconnaissance of Abo. ‘Gorgon’ is shown on the left of the picture in port broadside view; the 'Odin' is in the centre in starboard bow view; the 'Driver' is second from the right in port broadside view, with 'Alban' at far right, hidden behind a rock in port broadside view. There are several inscriptions below the image, including the title in English and French, the names of the four ships and their commanders, and the names of the makers and publisher. Two images on one plate; Plate No.15.
