An original watercolour by Nicholas Cammillieri (1819-1856), depicting 'Cosmopolitan' from her starboard broadside, sails unfurled and heading out of Malta in calm waters. The picture is inscribed: "Brig Schooner Cosmopolitan of Ipswich Da.is Bretton Master, going out of Malta 1842."
