The Watermouth (1839) of Barnstaple, Capt S Marshall
original art: drawing. A caption in the bottom right corner of the drawing states "Went ashore at Instow 1902" but this is not correct. The vessel sailed from Appledore 6 January 1900 with gravel for Bristol and went missing in a heavy gale. No trace of her or her crew of three was ever found.
