Ships ''Trident'' and ''Monarch'' '. They are shown off the Bass Rock with Tantallon Castle on the left. 'Trident' and 'Monarch' were 1000-ton vessels. The ships are identified by inscriptions under the image from left to right as the 'Trinity Yacht' (Trinity House), 'Monarch', 'Royal George', 'Shearwater', 'Black Eagle' and 'Trident'.
