The City of Baltimore screw steam ship 2464 Tons, 500 Horse Power, 347 Feet Long... To the Liverpool & Philadelphia Steam Ship Company

Hand coloured lithograph depicting the City of Baltimore, a British steam ship launched in 1855. Chartered by the French as a transport to the Crimea even before her launch, she belonged to the Inman Line and was considered a fast ship. In 1874 she belonged to the Hall Line and had the name Fivaller, and in 1882 owned by Spaniards and named Benicarlo, where she was re-engined and run as a tramp. (H. Parker and F. C.
