Originally built by George Steers for Collins Line, Adriatic was sold in 1860, after the collapse of the company, to the Galway Line. She finished up as a floating store ship until, in 1885, she was found to be beyond repair (H Parker and F.C. Bowen, 'Mail and Passenger Steamships of the XIXth Century'). Hand-coloured lithograph.
