The 'Seringapatam' East Indiaman, 1000 Tons
Print entitled 'The ''Seringapatam'' East Indiaman, 1000 Tons'. The ship was built by Green in 1837 as the first of the 'Blackwall frigates'. She here flies the post-1843 Green Blackwall line house flag and appears to be hove-to off the Needles for a pilot, whose cutter is under her stern.
