The ship 'Louisa Fletcher'
Ship portrait, signed and dated 1874. Oil painting of the clipper 'Louisa Fletcher' in port-broadside view, apparently with Rudyerd's Eddystone lightouse seen under her bow. She is identified by her name on the hull and is flying her code number. The house flag may be that of Money, Wigram & Co. - that is, a St George cross defaced by a blue square at centre, though the corners of the square usually extend into the white quadrants of the flag. For details on the artist, see BHC3286.
