Cowes: racing yachts off the Royal Yacht Squadron Club House at regatta time
Oil painting, signed by the artist, lower right. The view is toward the Solent across the waterfront of Cowes Castle, the clubhouse of the Royal Yacht Squadron, apparently on a summer evening with little wind. From the large crowds on shore and in boats it is apparently a view during Cowes Regatta week. [PvdM 5/15]
