Lord Nelson's attack on the Danish Line and City of Copenhagen April 2nd, 1801 From a Drawing made on the spot by Captain William Bligh of H.M.Ship Glatton
Print made as a foldout for Brenton's 'Naval History'. Bligh commanded the 'Glatton' under Nelson at Copenhagen, and was warmly commended by him for his support there. The spires of the city here are rather exaggerated. The large island battery to the right is the Trekroner Fort, the smaller one to the left the Lynetten battery. For an image see PAF4719, another copy.
