Trafalgar. Battle of Trafalgar: the situation of the Colossus, 74, when closely engaged by the Bahama, Spanish 74, on the larboard broadside, and the Argonaut, French, 74, on the starboard, and the Swiftsure, French, 74, endeavouring to pass under her stern to rake her, observing the manoeuvre of her opponent, ran up her flying-jib, causingher head to fall off, which enabled her to meet the Swiftsure with her starboard guns. The righthand ship is the Argonaute, hauling off which was completely annihilated in ten minutes. The Bahama and Swiftsure successively struck to the Colossus. - See United Service Journal for October 1841
