Victory of Trafalgar, in the Rear

Inscribed: “Victory of Trafalgar, in the Rear. This view of the total defeat of the Combined Fleets of France & Spain, with the Tenders of the British Fleet saving their conquered Enemies from the flames of their own vessel (L’Achille a French 74) is most respectfully inscribed to the Right Honble Lord Collingwood, the several Captains, the Officers, Seamen and Mariners of his Division. By their devoted Servant, Robt Dodd”.

'Belleisle' was by the end of the action a wreck and is shown bow view in the centre of the picture.
