Medium includes gouache. This campaign to found and promote the Museum was very well supported by Sir Bruce Ingram, managing editor/ proprietor of the 'Illustrated London News'. This cutaway drawing appeared in the issue reporting its formal opening by King George VI on 27 April 1937, the first major public event of his reign and three weeks before his Coronation.
