This is a portrait of the ‘Eendracht’ viewed from the starboard beam. The lower-masts and yards, bowsprit and spritsail topmast roughly sketched in. There is a barge alongside.

It is a faint offset, not rubbed on the back, worked up with a little rapid but accurate pencil.
