Royalty going on board a yacht

This a busy, crowded scene of boats on still water with land, a shore and raised hills in the background. A yacht lies at anchor in the very centre of the composition. It is viewed from the starboard bow. The royal barge, bearing its standard in the bow, appears on the right, coming alongside the yacht. There are two East India Company yachts behind the royal barge. On the far right of the composition are several other large ships floating on the still water.
