A beautifully and economically composed drawing of a group of different Dutch vessels at anchor in a calm sea near the shore. The primary focus is a smalschip shown in starboard broadside view, with the stern of a boeier on her port quarter, and other vessels and boats beyond. To the right in the distance is a States yacht.
