Ship's badge HMS Widemouth Bay 1944. Official design. On a field barry wavy of six white and blue a talbots head erased black, red mouth, white fangs, gold collar. In name tablet 'WIDEMOUTH BAY'. Circular shape with gold rope twist border, naval crown above. Pattern approved circa 1943. The dog's open mouth a visual pun on the name. Brass.
