Earl St Vincent
An oval bust-length portrait of John Jervis, Earl of St Vincent (1752–1820) in naval uniform with the ribbon and star of the Order of the Bath. Lettered beneath the image with the title, ‘Earl St. Vincent’, and the production detail and publication line, ‘Engraved by J. Chapman. / London. Published as the Act directs, Sept. 1. 1798 by H. D. Symonds, Pater-noster Row.’ This print was engraved by John Chapman and published by Henry Delahoy Symonds on 1 September 1798. (Updated June 2019.)
