Beating the Tattoo at Sunset (Greenwich Hospital)
A Greenwich Hospital fifer and drummer, in the mid-19th-century uniform of the Hospital standing on the north side of the Rysbrack statue in the Grand Square and beating 'sunset'. From the Illustrated London News, 25 March 1865, p. 280: see PAI8788 for further details. Its is mounted on a sheet with PAI8782-PAI8783 and PAI8785-PAI8791.
