Official ship's badge of HMS Cleopatra
Ship's badge HMS Cleopatra 1915. Depiction of a female human head representing Cleopatra Queen of Egypt (69-30BC). Official design. Field blue, Cleopatra's head proper crowned gold. 'CLEOPATRA' in name tablet. Naval crown. Pentagonal shape with gold rope twist border. Naval crown above. Colour of field differs from Admiralty Ships' Badges Committee description (black and should be blue). Pattern approved in October 1920.
