Ship's bell HMS 'Centaur' 1916. With bell rope attached on wooden stand. Six cannons with tapered bases crown staple apparently screwed in. Clapped top hooked over ball of flight with eye for shackle and rope. Inscribed: 'H.M.S. CENTAUR' (broad arrow).
