Bottle
Bottle commemorating Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). A large green glass bottle of nearly spherical shape. It is painted in oils on one side with a portrait of Nelson surrounded by the inscription: 'LORD HORATIO NELSON - ADMIRAL'. Below, an action between a British and French warship. The whole surrounded by gilt foliage. The design repeated on the other side around a crest. Probably made on the European mainland.
