Double handled loving cup, with a thick base and waisted shape. It is wheel-engraved with a frigate proceeding right to left inscribed: 'H.M.S. YORK'. A half-length portrait of an officer within a rope twist border is inscribed: 'CAPTAIN ROBERT BARTON.' The engraving is probably later than the cup.
