Wine glass
A wine glass with a pointed, round funnel bowl and opaque, white twist stem (two plain bands enclosing two tapes with twelve threads). The glass has a plain, conical foot. It is wheel engraved with a warship proceeding right to left and is inscribed: 'H.M.S. LEDA CAPTAIN GEORGE SAYER.' Sayer took command of 'Leda' in 1810 but the authenticity of this item is uncertain.
