Wine glass
A wine glass with a trumpet-shaped bowl, a stem with a angular knop above a ball knop (both hollow) and a folded foot with a pontil mark. It is wheel-engraved with a merchantman with a lateen sail on the mizen mast and a sprit topmast. Below is inscribed: 'SALUS PATRIAE' [mainstay of the country]. The glass is English with Dutch engraving.
