Wine glass
Wine glass, with a bucket bowl and an opaque white twist stem with four spiral gauzes. It has a plain conical foot and there are small bubbles and flaws in the glass. The bowl is engraved with a merchant brig. On the other side is inscribed: 'SUCCESS TO IRISH NAVIGATION AND TRADE' with shamrocks engraved below. The engraving may be later than the glass itself, the style is that of the 1880s.
